Chinese shipyards are in talks about building a large series of dual-fuelled bulk carriers initially likely to be worth about US$260 million. Other orders for Chinese yards this week included more bulk carriers and a ferry. Japan also won bulk carrier orders. A project to build a ferry for a British operator moved into the design stage.
