German cruise operator AIDA Cruises has announced the drydocking dates for the second and third Sphinx-class vessels to undergo major upgrade work as part of the operator's largest yet fleet renewal project – AIDA Evolution.

The first vessel to undergo the upgrade work at France’s Chantiers de Naval Marseille is the AIDAdiva, from February 3 to March 22, 2025. The second vessel will be AIDAluna, from October 22 to December 10, 2025, followed by the sister ship AIDAbella, drydocking in Marseille between January 21 and March 11, 2026.

Each seven-week drydocking period will focus on upgrading each vessel's onboard technology and passenger accommodation and facilities.

All three 69,000gt vessels were built between 2002 and 2009.
