ASRY certified by GTT for LNG carrier repairs

Bahrain shipyard ASRY has been awarded certification by Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT), an engineering company specialised in containment systems for the shipping and storage of LNG in cryogenic conditions. This demonstrates that the yard has the know-how to maintain and repair LNG carriers, some of the most complex and challenging work in the sector.
“Receiving this certification from one of the leading global institutions in the LNG industry is an achievement in itself,” said ASRY CEO Ahmed Al Abri. “It would not have been possible without our determination to deliver professional, high-quality services that meet the highest internationally recognised standards.”
Comparatively few shipyards are equipped to perform repair work on LNG carriers, many of which use GTT containment systems.
