Seatrium Limited has secured contracts worth a total of SGD 100 million (USD 76 million) for vessel repairs and upgrades, solidifying its position as a leader in maritime services. The projects, scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2025, include complex tasks such as carbon capture and storage (CCS) retrofits, repairs on yachts, cruise ships, LNG carriers, offshore vessels, and tankers.

The company is already undertaking two CCS retrofits, including a Wärtsilä system for Solvang ASA’s ethylene carrier, Clipper Eris, due in November 2024, and a Value Maritime ‘Filtree’ system on MOL’s 75,000dwt LR1 tanker Nexus Victoria, commencing in December 2024.

Meanwhile, Seatrium has secured a mega-yacht retrofit project from the Middle East, alongside repairs for Paspaley Pearling Company’s Paspaley Pearl and Compagnie du Ponant’s Le Jacques Cartier. Offshore projects include three refits, featuring a jack-up rig and a McDermott pipelay vessel.

The company will also conduct maintenance on tankers, including a Crowley Alaska vessel, and undertake steel renewal on an undisclosed collision-damaged ship. Other projects involve repairing five vessels, including LPG carriers, container ships, and a RoRo vessel, as well as contracts for LNG carriers and a floating dock.
