Working in collaboration with oil major Shell, Perth, Australia-based geo technology company Geo Oceans has carried out a full special survey inspection of four cargo oil tanks on an FPSO operating in the Gulf of Mexico, using remote robotic technology.
This is believed to be the first time that such work has been carried out on an FPSO, without any manual entry.
